"Pay Per Click" (PPC) advertisement listing services are much like Search Engines, but require that the listing submitter bid and Pay Per each Click on each of his/her self customized advertisement listings. Essentially, PPC advertisers are bidding on traffic. Note however, that PPC fraud is rapant in the industry. Advertisers are often paying for clicks that are not even from interested parties.
